Akshay Kumar's love for the armed forces and his philanthropic nature are his widely known traits. Fans got to see a new example of this recently. On Thursday, Akshay visited a forward near the LOC in Bandipora, J&K. Akshay socialized with the BSF soldiers there and played a game of vollyball with them. He also visited Tulail village along the LOC and donated 1 crore rupees to help establish a school in the village. The school is supposed to be named after Akshay's father Hari Om.
Sharing the pics from his meet with soldiers, Akshay wrote on Twitter, “Spent a memorable day with the @BSF_India bravehearts guarding the borders today. Coming here is always a humbling experience… meeting the real heroes. My heart is filled with nothing but respect." Videos of him playing volleyball with soldiers were also going viral on Instagram.
Prior to this, Akshay announced the release date of his long awaited film 'Bell Bottom'.
