Among all the actors working currently on Bollywood, Akshay Kumar is one with most interesting line up of films waiting for release. Still the actor isn't thinking about taking a break and is instead planning his next project. There are rumors about Akshay reuniting with his 'Mission Mangal' director, Jagan Shakti for his next project. Just like 'Mission Mangal', this project will also be based on real life events and it'll likely feature Akshay as a law enforcement officer.

Akshay and Shakti's 'Mission Mangal' was made to celebrate the achievement of India's first interplanetary mission. About the duo's upcoming collaboration, a source shared, "This is an action-drama with a dash of science. It is set in current times. It is inspired by true events. He will play the role of law enforcement officer."

The source further added, "As soon as Akshay fulfils his other commitments, we will begin shooting for this film. There are so many things in the pipeline for him, so we are also waiting to go on floors. Currently due to COVID-19, the schedule of all projects is affected." The project is yet to titled and it'll be bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani.
