It's time for tagline of a product to turn true!
'Thums Up', that has always been accompanied by the tagline 'TASTE THE THUNDER' since the 80s has now come up with an innovative promotional campaign. Their latest promo has the regular Akshay Kumar starring in, but the treatment is different! While the stylishly shot promo has a wild and adventurous feel to it [in conjunction with Akshay's on-screen image], what is noticeable about it is that it literally shows Akshay 'TASTING THE THUNDER'! Yes, you read it right!
When Akshay is shown to be craving for his Thums-Up, he jumps all the way into the danger zone and climbs to the top of a lighthouse in the sea with an empty bottle of Thums-Up in his hands. As he sways his body in the dead of the night over the lighthouse, a terrible thunder break happens along with dark clouds, lightening and the works. As his friends look at his antics in horror, lightening strikes his empty bottle and fills it up with his favorite drink! Hence the tagline 'TASTE THE THUNDER' coming true!
Now that's being innovative....and stylish!
