When 2007 romantic movie 'Namastey London' hit screens it won hearts all over and was also the biggest blockbuster then. Currently there was news that, the sequel to the superhit romantic drama is in process and Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the lead. But seem that all didn't go well and it has been shelved.

According to sources, the script was good and there were a lot of preparations to be made before the film goes on floor. Things were not going good and its shoot schedule has been pushed further from August. Another reason could be that the actors are busy in their own schedule and shooting. As of now, Namastey England is owing to the lavish budget and hectic work commitments of the leads and has now been put on hold.

Sonakshi Sinha is currently shooting for her next titled Noor`, while Akshay Kumar is busy shooting 'Rustom'.
