Although the pandemic has caused several businesses to shut down including the film industry but actor Akshay Kumar has been pumping out films like a speedy assembly line. Just when restrictions eased after the first lockdown, Akshay started working on several projects. Several of his movies are wrapped up and awaiting release. One such movie is 'Bell Bottom'. The spy thriller is desperately awaited by fans and it's still not clear whether it'll release theatrically or digitally.

Latest reports suggest that Akshay has signed up yet another film and this one will be produced by makers of 'Bell Bottom' as well. A source close to the development shared, "Akshay Kumar had a very smooth journey while shooting for Bellbottom with his producers, the Bhagnani’s. Right after the shooting wrapped up, the producers narrated another story to Akshay, and the actor instantly agreed to come on board for the film."

Apart from this, Akshay has films like 'Atrangi Re', 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Ram Setu' etc lined up for release.
