Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who is the best friend of actress Asin and her husband Rahul Sharma, had played the cupid in the couple's love story. The busy actor who was by the couple's side on their special day to catch the glimpse of their newborn, shared the first picture of Asin and Rahul's daughter on his Twitter handle. 

"One joy which is completely unmatched...congratulations to my dearest friends @simply.asin and Rahul on the arrival of their little angel," wrote Akshay Kumar. Meanwhile, Asin took to her official Instagram page to share the big news and wrote, "Ecstatic to announce the arrival of our Angelic Baby Girl earlier today. Thank you for all your love and wishes. She is the best birthday present I could ever ask for!"

Asin Thottumkal and husband Rahul Sharma, co-founder of tech company Micromax, welcomed their first child - a baby girl, on Tuesday, October 24. The couple got married last year on January 19 in a Christian wedding ceremony followed by Hindu rituals near Delhi. Although her wedding made headlines, she kept her pregnancy under the wraps. On the acting front, Asin was last seen in 2015’s Bollywood release All Is Well.
