It's been more than a year since a mainstream movie has witnessed a theatrical release. Die to pandemic, makers are holding on to their projects waiting for the better opportunity. However, Akshay Kumar is here to break that cycle. His long awaited film 'Bell Bottom' finally has a release date and it's really not too far. Akshay took to Twitter to share the release date of the movie and fans are excited about the fact that it's going to be a theatrical release.

Akshay shared a clip featuring the release date and wrote, “I know you have patiently waited for #Bellbottom! Arriving across big screens worldwide #BellBottomOn27July"

'Bell Bottom' is one of around half a dozen Akshay Kumar films which are completed and awaiting release. It is an espionage thriller which also stars Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor. The film was shot amidst the pandemic when the restrictions were lifted after the first lockdown. Apart from this one, Akshay has films like 'Atrangi Re', 'Sooryavanshi', 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Prithviraj' and several others set to release in future.
