Akshay Kumar responds to 'Dhoom 4' reports

'Dhoom is one of the most popular film franchise of Bollywood. It is credited for bringing the trend of high octane racing and action movie elements to Bollywood films. We often her buzz about the next installment of the franchise and like always, there are specualtions about who will headline the cast. Since it is a action franchise, Akshay Kumar was rumored to be the star of 'Dhoom 4'.
Recently, he responded to these reports and called them bogus. He said, As for the Dhoom 4 speculation, I have two words for you, FAKE NEWS. A viral tweet claimed that Akshay has been confirmed as the lead of 'Dhoom 4' but it turns out that the rumor started with a fan made poster.
So far in the series, three different actors, John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan have portrayed the theives while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra have portrayed the cops who take thieves down. It sure would be exciting to see who stars in the next installment to take the stakes even further.
