As we had reported earlier. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will start shooting for his maiden Tamil film '2.0' in which he will be playing the negative lead opposite Superstar Rajinikanth, in its second schedule of shoot in Chennai,.

Sources have confirmed that Akshay Kumar has already landed in Chennai on Saturday to join the '2.0' unit.

The film's director Shankar has completed the first schedule with Rajinikanth and the lead actress Amy Jackson. Now between the Superstar and Akki is expected to be shot in the second schedule which will begin from the first week of March in Chennai.

'2.0' is being produced by Lyca Productions on a whopping budget of Rs.350 crores. A.R.Rahman is scoring the music for this flick while Nirav Shah is mantling the camera.

The film is expected to hit the screens in 2017.
