Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty starrer historical drama 'The Kashmir Files' turned out to be a huge success within first few days of its release. The film is doing exceptionally well on box office and it's been raking praises from audience and critics as well. On Sunday, superstar Akshay Kumar also took to Twitter to share a few words of appreciation for the film.

Akshay responded to a tweet by Anupam Kher in which the latter had celebrated success and positive reception of the film. Akshay lauded 'The Kashmir Files' for bringing the audience back to the theatres and stated that he himself will watch the film pretty soon.

His tweet read, "Hearing absolutely incredible things about your performance in #TheKashmirFiles @AnupamPKher Amazing to see the audience back to the cinemas in large numbers. Hope to watch the film soon. Jai Ambe."

On the work front, Akshay is currently awaiting the release of his films like 'Bachchan Pandey' and 'Prithviraj'.
