Since his last two films failed to make an impact on the box office, superstar Akshay Kumar is now looking to break that cycle with his upcoming film 'Raksha Bandhan'. The trailer of the film was released recently and the film itself is set to come out on 11th of August.

It is evident that 'Raksha Bandhan' is going to clash with Aamir Khan's highly anticipated film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' which can hamper its performance on box office. However, in a recent media interaction, Akshay stated that he is happy about the simultaneous release of 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and he doesn't consider it as a clash at all.

According to a recent report in ETimes, the actor stated, "It's not a clash. It's about good movies coming together. And, it's a big day. Due to Covid-19, many films did not release and some are still waiting to get a release date. So, it's natural more films will release together. I hope both films have a good run."
