One of the first mainstream Indian movies to begin shooting is the Bollywood movie Bellbottom starring Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi and many others, and the movie will begin shooting in the United Kingdom.

It has now been revealed that popular Tamil actor Thalaivasal Vijay, known for his supporting roles in many superhit movies like Kadhaluku Mariyathai, Kadhal Kottai etc has been signed to play an important role in Bellbottom and the actor also traveled with the team to the UK on a chartered flight from the Mumbai airport.

Thalaivasal Vijay revealed that his role will be a crucial extended cameo and this is the actor's second straight Hindi film after Junglee. The actor was reportedly chosen after an audition and he had been preparing for his character at home during the lockdown. Bellbottom is said to be based on an untold true story.
