While everyone are aware how Anurag Kashyap's much talked project 'Bombay Velvet' met a tragic end, the film has turned out to be a joke for many. Here's an instance, when at the recently held 'Brothers' trailer launch, lead hero Akshay Kumar made no bones of this fact....

The Khiladi, in his typical sarcastic andaaz, took a jibe at his 'Brothers' producer, Karan Johar by saying that one cannot be an actor just by wearing velvet clothes - clearly indicating about Karan's acting debut movie 'Bombay Velvet'! Taking this in his stride, a sportive KJo jokingly asked Akshay why is he pouring salt on his wounds. To which Akki replied back that it was he (Karan) who provoked him into saying this as he was silent till that time.
