The 'Singh Is Bliing' star Akshay Kumar has always been known for his contribution towards social cause. Recently we got to know that he met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to talk about the increasing farmers issue in our country. The discussion was more on increase in farmers deaths and measures for them to come out of depression. Akshay also told him about the fund that he has raised for some 100 farmers, by an event that was conducted in Delhi. Looks like they both had some serious talks and discussion.

Akshay Commented saying, "We all should do our bit of work for the society, especially by helping the farmers who provide us food. If the root is the problem then we should get to the root and eradicate it. Not by just saying and then doing nothing." Arvind Kejriwal who was pleased and glad on what Akshay said added, "We see a lot of farmers who are not happy because the middlemen take most of the advantage in this. We should start a campaign to stop all this, and it's nice to see celebrities coming forward to take this issue serious." Both seemed pleased and hope to do better things for farmers.
