Shankar and Lyca Entertainment managed a casting coup by bringing Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar to play the chief antagonist against Superstar Rajinikanth in 2.0`. Akki must have had a gala time in his first South Indian film that now rumors are flying that he is going to be the villain of another Tamil film.

Mahesh Babu is going to start shooting next month for his first Tamil/Telugu bilingual directed by A.R. Murugadoss. There have already been reports suggesting that S. J. Surya is going to play one of the villains in the as yet untitled film. Now it is being said that Akshay Kumar will play the main villain opposite Mahesh Babu. Parineethi Chopra is most likely to play the heroine and now it looks like the project will be a Tamil/Telugu/Hindi trilingual.
