Akshay Kumar Introduces His Bright 'Gold' Family

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has treated the fans with his intriguing posters and trailer from ‘Gold’ each time. And today too with lots of excitement, the actor took to his social media to share 5 series of tweets which features the pivotal characters in the film.

Based on the pre-Indian Independence period, he starts introducing us to his wife Mrs. Monobina Das played by Mouni Roy in ‘Gold’. The tweet was captioned as,” Meet Mrs. Monobina Das, my wife.”

Next he has unveiled Samrat as the coach of the team. Played by Kunal Kapoor, the tweet goes,” A brother, a friend and the coach of the dream team. Meet Samrat.” Vineet Singh of the ‘Mukkabaaz’ fame will be seen playing as Imtiaz. Akshay captioned it as,“A true leader and a great player. Meet Imtiaz.” Introducing Vicky Kaushal’s brother as Himmat, Akki tweeted,” Iske sirf naam mein hi nahi, game mein bhi bohot Himmat hain! Meet Himmat Singh.” The last character that our Khiladi Kumar introduced was that of Amit Sadh who will be seen playing as Raghubir.”When he starts playing, the opposition becomes the spectator. Meet Raghubir Pratap Singh,” he wrote. ‘Gold’ traces the journey of the man who dreamt of winning India’s first gold in hockey, post-Independence - Tapan Das. India won its first gold medal as an independent nation at the Olympics on the August 12, 1948. It is slated to release on August 15th and will clash with John Abraham’s ‘Satyameva Jayate’ in the box office.
