Akshay Kumar inspired by Lord Hanuman

B-town has currently become a hotspot for super heroes! While one can see our top stars SRK and Hrithik Roshan are taking pride of their avatars in ‘Ra.One’ and Krrish sequel, our Stunt King Akshay Kumar is on the way to prove that he too has a super hero side…

Grapevines have it that the Khiladi Kumar is next going to do a superhero flick that will be helmed by Nikhil Advani, and guess what? His character in the movie is said to be inspired from Lord Hanuman, the mythological character.

Sources revealed that Akshay didn’t want to follow the same International icons like Superman or Spiderman. Instead he felt that he should develop a superhero which is closer home and one which Indian audience can relate to. So Akki asked his director to turn more to Hindu mythology for inspiration.

It is said that this untitled projected will feature Akshay as a full-on action hero and he will perform lots of stunts, all by himself.

Sources added that the actor’s wife Twinkle and son Aarav wanted him to play a superhero.

Hmmm wonder how Akki’s new avatar will look like? Will his screen ‘powers’ surpass SRK and Hrithik’s? Let’s wait and watch…..
