If things go as planned then B-townÂs Action King Akshay Kumar will be seen in yet another Tamil remake. Akshay Kumar made a power-packed impression with Prabhu DevaÂs ÂRowdy Rathore which was the remake of Telugu film ÂVikramarkudu (which was also remade in Tamil as ÂSiruthai and Kannada as ÂMadakariÂ). Now buzz is that the rough-tough star will team up with the superhit ÂGhajini helmer AR Murugadoss for the Hindi version of his latest Tamil release ÂThuppakkiÂ.
Released this Diwali ÂThuppakki stars Vijay and Kajal Agarwal (who debuted in Bollywood with ÂSinghamÂ) in lead and the film is already on the way to become a huge hit. A complete action entertainer, the story of ÂThuppakki is about an Army captain and the film is set against the backdrop of Mumbai. Incidentally it is said that Murugadoss in fact wanted to make this film in Hindi first, since it had Mumbai flavour. However apparently things didnÂt turn out as expected and the director went on to make the Tamil film and now he is back to Hindi version plans.
Talks are that either Kajal who did ÂThuppakki might take up the leading ladyÂs role in the Hindi remake  or Katrina Kaif whose name is also making the gossip rounds.
