Our Khiladi proved his golden heart... Akshay Kumar reported to have extended help to producer Ravi Shrivastava, who gave the actor his first film 'Saugandh'.
As per reports, Shrivastava, who is now struck with poverty, is suffering from kidney failure and needs money for the transplant. An article was published about the producer's poor condition and it was brought to Akshay's notice through social networking site. Following this, the 'Rustom' actor replied, "Yes sir, my team has reached out to him...Already taken care of." It is said that Akshay's team has reportedly raised money for the kidney transplant of Shrivastava.
For the records, Akshay was supposed to make his acting debut in 1991 with a film titled 'Dwarpaal' which was produced by Ravi Shrivastava. However the project was shelved and Akshay made his Bollywood debut with 'Saugandh' in 1992.
