Akki’s next film - the remake of Tamil hit ‘Thuppaki’ - might earn him the highest paid actor tag.

Buzz is that the Action King has been signed in for the project for a whopping amount of Rs.50 crores! The Hindi ‘Thuppaki’, to be directed by AR Murugadoss, will be produced by Reliance Movies.

It is said that the makers of the film were quite keen to have Akshay on board and so agreed upon paying according to his demand.

Incidentally, it can be noted that our Dabangg Salman Khan had raised his price to Rs.100crore post the success of his ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
