It has become common practice in India for celebrities to face wrath of a group of people cause of some insignificant details in their content. This time its Akshay Kumar who is being criticized for his upcoming film 'Prithviraj'. The film is based on the fierce warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan. Although the film is made to celebrate life and feats of the great king but the title of the project didn't go too well with some groups.

After Karni Sena, Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha has demanded a change of the title. As a form of protest, effigy of actor Akshay Kumar was burned in Chandigarh. The demand is to name the film 'Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan'.

Some weeks ago, Karni Sena also threatened the makers oft he film regarding the title. Leader of its youth wing, Surjeet Singh Rathore said, “If they don’t listen to our advice they will have to face the consequences. What happened to Sanjay Leela Bhansali during ‘Padmaavat’, the makers of this film will have to be prepared for it, too."
