'Airlift' actor Akshay Kumar is a proud dad today, his excitement is no bound because his son Aarav has received his first degree black belt in Kudo, Okinawa and Goju Ryu Karate Do. Akshay himself is a martial arts fan and it seem like he has received the best gift ever from his son.

Excited Akshay took to Twitter and Instagram and shared an image of his son wearing a blue uniform with a black belt. He captioned it saying, "My son started training when he was just four years old. And today, after nine years of hard work he got his first degree black belt in Kudo, Okinawa and Goju Ryu Karate Do! Some joys cannot be expressed in words, this one tops the list. But I`m feeling so proud, had to share it with you all...Overwhelmed, can`t stop smiling, proud father." After Akshay tweeted even Aarav`s mother Twinkle, shared a post that said the best Mother`s Day gift.

Houseful` actor Akshay started his training in karate when he was in Class VIII and has always been in shape due to his passion towards kickboxing, basketball, swimming and Parkour. On career front, Akshay is currently shooting for Houseful 3` and Rustom` that will hit the screens this year.
