Center's announcement of allowing 100% occupancy in multiplexes and single screen theaters have made filmmakers, distributers and exhibitors rejoice with joy as the movie business can now run like pre pandemic days. This also means that lot of films with delayed releases will now start announcing their release dates.

The first such film is Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sooryavanshi'. A part of Rohit Shetty's ambitious cop universe, 'Sooryavanshi' is awaiting its release for about 13 months now. The film will reportedly release on 2nd of April 2021. However, there hasn't been an official announcement yet.

There were speculations and discussions about the digital release of the film but makers stuck with their decision to wait for the theatrical release for a better experience.
