Akshay Kumar starrer cop drama 'Sooryavanshi' finally released on Friday after a long delay and initial reviews suggest that it is exactly what people needed at the moment. This film is the fourth installment in Rohit Shetty's ambitious cop universe which already consists of Ajay Devgan's 'Singham' and Ranveer Singh's 'Simmba'. 'Sooryavanshi' is also the first collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty who are both masters of their fields.

Latest buzz suggests that the duo might reunite soon for yet another project. If 'Sooryavanshi' does well on box office, Rohit might try to extrapolate the story through the sequels.

A source told India Today, "If the Sooryavanshi magic works at the ticket window then Rohit and Akshay will definitely take this franchise ahead and think of future possibilities. There is also a likelihood they work together on a film outside of the Cop universe that Rohit has created."
