After the major surprise of our very own Khiladi Kumar, Akshay Kumar being introduced as ATS Chief Sooryavanshi in Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simbba’, the director Rohit Shetty announced the fourth cop film titled ‘Sooryavanshi’. Ever since the announcement of the film and the first looks that had Akki slaying his cop avatar, were out from the film, the fans’ excitement knew no bounds and are badly waiting for any kind of updates from the film.

This would be the first time that both the amazingly talented – Akki and Rohit are coming together for ‘Sooryavanshi’ and looks like it is definitely going to be worth a wait. Recently, the buzz was doing the rounds that the leading lady for the film has been finalised and she is none other than the gorgeous – Jacqueline Fernandez. This duo has earlier come together for films such as ‘Housefull 2’, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Brother ‘ and it would be great to watch them again on the big screens.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay will be next seen in Anurag Singh's war drama, ‘Kesari’ opposite Parineeti Chopra. The film is all set to hit the screens on the 21st of March.
