When the powerhouses of talent – Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan come together after a few years of a long list of blockbuster hits like ‘Ajnabee’, ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, ‘Tashan’, ‘Aitraaz’ and ‘Bewafaa’ amongst others, then their next is surely going to be smashing the box office. Titled as ‘Good News’ the couple has already started the shoot and the recent report is that they are going to recreate a popular song for this film as remixes have almost become one of the current traditions of Bollywood music.
Reportedly Akshay, Kareena, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh have shot for the recreated version of Sukhbir’s 90s hit number, “Sauda Khara Khara”. And, DJ Chetas, who has worked on the remake, told, “It was a dream come true to work with Akshay sir, Karan (Johar, producer) sir and Kareena ma’am on a film. I can’t get into the details of the track, but I can promise that it will be one of the biggest hits of the year.” The song will be set inside a Delhi club and will mark a celebration in the lives of the lead characters. The original song featured Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea and was set around a wedding.
Helmed by Bollywood debutante director Raj Mehta, the film is produced by Karan Johar and is slated to hit the screens on September 6, 2019.
