Bollywood film-maker Karan Johar and Akshay ‘Khiladi’ Kumar have announced that Kesari would be their next film together. In a ‘first-look’ kind of intimation, they duo has also intimated that the proposed film would be releasing only during 2019 Holi.

The first-look poster also reveals that the film would be based on ‘The Battle of Saragarhi’, one of the bravest battles to have ever been fought in the country.  Dharma Productions would be producing the film about which Akshay kumar has twitted on his Twitter account stating “Excited about the film personally and emotionally....Kesari releasing Holi 2019.”

It may be recalled that the film was to have been produced by Salman Khan before he went on record to say that he won’t be producing of the film.

Queried about who would be producing the film, Akshay said that the film would soon be made irrespective of whoever would be the producer.
