When 'Garam Masala' turned out to be a huge success as many as six years ago, there were quite a few filmmakers who felt that they had found a dependable male 'jodi' to cast in their projects. However Akshay Kumar as well as John Abraham were sure that whenever they would come together ever again, the film had to be something special. Circa 2011 and it is debutant director Rohit Dhawan who managed to convince the duo that 'Desi Boyz' is indeed the film that is worthy enough for them to face the camera together again.

"First thing that you would notice in 'Desi Boyz' is that both Akshay and John are pretty much like hand in glove with each other," says Rohit who is now counting days en route to film's November release, "Let's admit this, these two are incredibly good looking men. They look quite young and nowhere close to their age. They have this unsaid bonding with each other that also reflects on screen."

Well, one can well expect that to be the case if the promos of 'Desi Boyz' are any indication. With Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh as the leading ladies, 'Desi Boyz' is a co-production of Vijay Ahuja, Krishika Lulla and Jyoti Deshpande. With music by Pritam, the film releases all over on 25th November.
