Bollywood stars are now adapting themselves to the changing world of entertainment. The rise of OTT platforms have given a tough competition to Bollywood and actors are now transitioning to digital space to stay relevant with time. Like several other mainstream stars, Akshay Kumar has also signed a web show with Amazon Prime Video. The show was announced back in 2019 but there has been no development on it till now.

Now the latest reports suggest that the script is ready and the show might go on floors by 2022. During a promotional event for his film 'Bell Bottom', Akshay was asked about his OTT debut. The actor replied, “I am doing the project. I can’t tell you anything about it. It’s been written and yes, it has taken a little time. But, by next year, I will start the web series."

Akshay Kumar is churning out one film after another in last few months. He has more than half a dozen movies which are awaiting their release and he's still on a signing spree. Akshay manages all this by jumping from one film schedule to another and by wrapping the projects in 4-5 weeks.
