B-town entertainer Akshay Kumar has beaten his arch rivals Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan in the IT (income tax) ring by a handsome margin of 10 crores.

He has emerged as the top tax payer for the year 2011-12 by paying a hefty tax of 20 crores.

Half the amount paid by his arch rivals Salman and Shahrukh who have been reported to have paid Rs.10 crores as taxes for the year. Perfectionist Aamir lacks more behind by paying Rs.6.5 crores.

At the ladies front, B-town powerhouse Kareena Kapoor enjoys the top spot at the IT list with a staggering figure of 4 crores.

Surprisingly the world most beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan enjoys the second position with 2.5 crore considering the fact that she wasn’t working much and was occupied by her family and personal commitments.

Priyanka Chopra ranks third with 1.5 crores.
