Producer C.V.Kumar has turned director with the film 'Mayavan' that stars Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles. The film went on floors last week and shooting has been progressing in Chennai.

Now we learn that actress Askhara who danced for the super hit 'Stylish Tamizhachi' song in Thala Ajith's super hit film 'Arrambam' will be making a camero appearance in 'Mayavan'.

A source close to the unit reveals that Akshara has been cast in an extended cameo role and she will be shooting for five days to complete her work for the film. The role required a stylish actor and Kumar zeroed in on the 'Arrambam' girl.

The 'Mayavan' team is currently shooting in ECR, Chennai. The film's screenplay has been written by Nalan Kumarasamy of 'Soodhu Kavvum' fame.
