Akshara Gowda along with Lavanya Tripathi is playing an important role in Sundeep Kishan`s as-yet-untitled film. The regular shoot of the film began today. Akshara Gowda has joined the cast and crew to shoot for her portions. The fledgling actress shot to fame with Arrambam, the Ajith-starrer. Having acted in Tamil and done a Hindi film, she is raring to become a familiar face in Telugu with this bi-lingual.

Directed by CV Kumar, who produced the spooky thriller Pizza, the film has Sundeep playing a short-tempered cop for the first time in his career.

Earlier, Tapsee Pannu was mooted to play Sundeep's heroine, but due to she being busy with a handful of films, Lavanya Tripathi was roped in.

Besides this, Sundeep will act in a remake of the Malayalam dark comedy Neram. Looks like Sundeep is in for some experimentation.
