'Akshara', which is admittedly based on true events, seeks to make a statement. "He who sells education is condemned to be destroyed," the trailer asserts.
Starring Nandita Swetha as a Physical teacher, the film has Harshavardhan in a supporting role. A female student dies by suicide. Then there is an avaricious proprietor of a corporate educational institution who is ruthless in his ambition.
Also featuring Shakalaka Shankar, Satya, Ajay Ghosh, Madhunandan, 'Care of Kancharapalem' fame Raju and others, the film is all set to hit the screens on February 16.
Music is by Suresh Bobbili. Directed by B Chinni Krishna, the drama is produced by Suresh Varma Alluri and Ahi Teja Bellamkonda.
