Akku's next with Mammootty

Akku Akbar, who tasted big commercial success with the recent Jayaram movie ‘Veruthe Oru Bharya' will team up with superstar Mammootty for his next venture. The movie which is planned to be on the scripts of Reji Nair (of 'Pattalam', fame) will have the megastar in the role of a mahout.

Akku Akbar who was earlier a part of the Akbar-Jose duo, turned independent director with 'Gauri the Unborn' a Hindi film. Akku will start shooting for this Mammootty flick by the early months of next year.

Meanwhile 'Veruthe oru Bharya' is continuing with its winning run, entering its hundredth day in a couple of weeks. The movie is expected to end up as the second biggest hit of the year, after 'Annan Thampi'.
