Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao (CSR), essentially familiar as the co-producer of hat trick productions with Sushanth, has a flair for writing too. He penned the story of Sushanth's earlier film Current and has always got an idea to chip in with. Head of Sri Nag group that has its presence in diverse areas such as Infra, education and entertainment etc. CSR is a man for future but plays it according to a strategy. He is never in a hurry to start the project but is capable for multi tasking.
In an interview with IndiaGlitz post the success of Adda the producer gives an account of how, why, when, what and who of the film Adda, the key stake holders and the future ideas.
Excerpts from the interview...
Thank You Telugu Audiences
At the outset, I would like to thank the Telugu audience and particularly Akkineni fans. The movie is running to full houses abroad as well. The credit of the success goes to the entire unit but if you want me to pick two highlights of the movie, Id choose Sushanths performance and Anup Rubens music.
Thanks To ANR For The Story Idea
The idea of a story cropped up in my mind when I met Mr. ANR on his way to a marriage and he said I am concerned about todays marriages and their sustainability. It was on my mind as a story plot and when Karthik Reddy narrated a story in the same lines, I thought this is the one.
Film With Nag, A Dream...
I would love to make a film with Nagarjuna. But its all about the story for him and he should like it. We are definitely working on it.
We Are Here To Stay
Sri Nag Group has different divisions like Infra, Corporation, Education etc. Film division is Sri Nag Corporation. We will do movies with all heroes and directors. We are in talks with some filmmakers like Maruthi, Vishnu Deva, choreographer and Prabhu Devas cousin... Will reveal as the projects are frozen.
Irrespective Of Political Turmoil...
Yes, the agitation has affected us to some extent but the overall scenario is fine. Collections are good and the NR advances paid by the buyers, they have got back their monies in the very first week. In the second week, we increased the screens and families and ladies have started flocking to the theaters.
Success Helps Team
Its a team work and I am happy this movie has given a consolidation to the heroine Shanvi after Lovely, Karthik Reddy will also establish himself as a writer director. Especially the second half, where the love story had to run parallel to other characters and their stories, Adda activities... he handled all of them superbly and commendable for a debutant director. We complemented the director with our own experiences in the two earlier productions and he did the entire creative work.
Reasons for the gap...
We took two years for the pre and production of Adda itself. Eight months on the script and then a year on production. And a couple of years prior to that, Sushanth waited for the right story. So, four years hard work has paid off.
Akkineni Fans Will Be Proud Of Sushanth...
Sushanth has great fire in him and a great team player. Even his performance in the presence of senior and seasoned actors like Kota and Bharani has made us believe that yes, he has evolved. He has improved a lot in this film from the earlier films. Its a treat to the Akkineni fans and they are loving the film.
The Exercise...
We did an exercise for the story. We made groups of audiences, 50s, 40s, 30s etc and narrated the story to check how each group would respond the story and the scenes. Thats why this movie could reach the audience more than our earlier films. For Sri Nag Corporation, this gives the impetus to make better films and regularly in future. I also thank my co-producer Mrs. Naga Susheela for the great support thru the journey. Now, we will make movies without gap.
Anup Is The Hero...
Anups music scores are the life for the film and hes proved that he is comfortable with both melody and rhythm. While songs have a good mix of fast and soothing numbers, the BG scores have entirely lifted the movie by a few notches up.
