Amit Sadh, who shot to fame with Abhishek Kaooor's 'Kai Po Che', has an interesting line up if films releasing this year including Subhash Kapoor's 'Guddu Rangeela', Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Yaara' and A R Murugadoss' 'Akira'.

While Amit had to gain 22 kgs for his role in 'Yaara', he had to lose drastically and sport six pack abs for 'Akira' where he's paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha. After wrapping up 'Yaara', Amit immediately started prepping up for his role in 'Akira' that went on floors recently.

A source informs, "Amit takes his roles very seriously. For Yaara, the actor had gone through a physical transformation and gained about 22 kgs for his role. Just after that he had to lose weight for 'Akira' and sport six pack look for the film. Amit had gone through weight issues and his eating habits were messed up."

Amit informs, "When I was shooting for 'Guddu Rangeela', I weighed approximately 63 kgs but had to gain 22 kgs for 'Yaara'. And for 'Akira', I had to lose the weight again as that is what the character required. It was difficult as I had few days to get into shape and get a six pack abdomen. But I am happy I achieved it.

Amit's role in 'Akira' is being kept under wraps for now, but it's learnt that he plays more than Sonakshi's love interest in the film. His character takes the film forward and he's there from beginning to end.
