Akhil Akkineni's film with Venky Atluri, produced as Production No. 25 of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP, was on Monday evening launched at Annapurna Studios.  Akkineni Nagarjuna gave the first clap.

The first shot was filmed on the portraits of Gods.  While Nag gave the clap, Mollywood hero Dulquer Salman (who is in Hyderabad to dub for 'Mahanati') switched on the camera.  The Akkineni family members were present on the occasion.  

The regular shooting will begin from May.  It will have music by SS Thaman.  George C Williams, who cranked the camera for 'Tholi Prema', will work on the film.  Naveen Nooli is the editor.  Additional story and chief associate direction are by Satish Chandra.  Venky Atluri has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues.  BVSN Prasad expressed his happiness over the commencement of the project.
