NTR graced the pre-release event of 'Mr. Majnu'.  He was all praise for producer BVSN Prasad, Akhil, Thaman, director Venky Atluri and others.

"I have come to this event as a family member, not as a guest.  Many cast and crew members of this film are dear to me.  A film producer needs to have both passion and strategy to market his product.  BVSN Prasad garu is someone who knows only passion.  He spends every single penny he earns from movies on movies!  I have done 'Oosaravelli' and 'Nannaku Prematho' with him.  The former is my favourite, while 'NP' is also close to my heart.  He never worries about budget.  He has dedicated his life for cinema," NTR said.

"I have known Venky Atluri as a friend, an actor, a writer, and a director.  I have known him personally for many years.  When he chose direction, I was worried for him.  What if he doesn't click as a director?  We have seen a number of love stories and what if his debut movie 'Tholi Prema' doesn't work?  I asked myself.  But once I watched the movie, I was very proud of him.  The was away from routine stuff.  It worked on the strength of its content and performances," the 'Aravindha Sametha' actor added.

NTR recalled his association with Thaman since the days of 'Brindavanam'.  "Last year, 'Tholi Prema' and 'Aravindha' were his big hits.  He is only going to soar higher and higher," NTR said.

Talking about Akhil, he said, "Self-critical analysis is a rare trait.  Akhil has always done it.  Take it from me that he will be one of the finest actors.  I am not talking about stardom.  'Mr. Majnu' will prove that."
