Akhil to romance Monal Gajjar in ‘Telugu Abbayi Gujarat Ammayi’

‘Telugu Abbayi Gujarat Ammayi’, a web series, is the first project that Akhil Sarthak has signed up since the end of Bigg Boss Telugu-4. He was linked up with Monal Gajjar, who is the heroine of this web series.

Speaking about the project, Akhil Sarthak said, “This is a proper web series where you can see love. If you want to know more about what happened between I and Monal Gajjar in the Bigg Boss house, you have to watch this web series. This story was written for both of us by the director. We both are playing middle-class individuals in this romantic drama.”

He added that the web series will be a six-episode one. “The scenes are going to be truly shocking. You will see a new Akhil here. I will be like I am in real life. My conversations with Monal outside the Bigg Boss house will be portrayed in it,” Akhil revealed. Akhil, who was the runner-up of the Bigg Boss season, said that Monal is not at all egoistic. “She is a senior to me in the industry but she is so unassuming,” Akhil added.

Monal said that, while in the Bigg Boss house, she could convey whatever she could with her linguistic constraints. “In the web series, my character is a Gujarati and the cultural issues she faces in Hyderabad are going to be interesting,” the actress said.
