The pre-release event of 'The Ghost' was held in Kurnool on Sunday. The film is hitting the screens on October 5. The event was graced by Naga Chaitanya and Akhil as chief guests.

Akhil Akkineni's speech was filled with energy and optimism. "I and Annayya are very proud today. There is a fire in Nanna garu in the film. There is a lot of intensity in him. I have to start with director Praveen. He has delivered what was needed. I thank him for coming into my father's life. My father continues to be as hungry as he was 30 years ago. He is my biggest source of motivation. He tells me how fast we should run as his children. 'The Ghost' has been firing from all cylinders through its pre-release promotional material. October 5th is hugely awaited," the 'Agent' actor said.

Naga Chaitanya, the other chief guest, said, "If the right mass film is made with Nanna garu, we know how resounding its success is going to be. Usually, he doesn't talk much about his work at home. But for the last 4-5 months, he has been talking enthusiastically about 'The Ghost'. His transformation from 'Bangarraju' to this film is amazing. That way, he is a motivator. I thank director Praveen for casting him in an action film. I have got to interact a lot with the director. He uses the resources at his disposal optimally. I loved the action in 'PSV Garuda Vega'."

Speaking on the occasion, Sonal Chauhan said, "The trailer has received an amazing response. You will love the movie even more when you watch it on the big screen. This is a very special film to me. I have done action, and I must thank my director Praveen sir for believing in me. I will always be thankful for that. A big thank you to my producers for making me feel so much at home. This is a big-screen experience best watched in a theatre."
