Akhil tweeted, I’m deeply sorry that my mother has to respond to this demonic nonsense, but sometimes we are left with no choice but to confront such sociopaths. He expressed full support for his family, calling out the minister's remarks as not only hurtful but also dangerously irresponsible.

Amala Akkineni, in her original post, expressed her shock at the “vicious and fabricated” allegations, stating, It’s disheartening to see decent citizens being used as pawns in political battles. She urged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to intervene, demanding that Minister Surekha withdraw her statements and issue a public apology to the family.
