The third generation hero from Akkineni family, hailed as one of the illustrated families of Tollywood is soon going to debut with eponymously titled film Akhil - The Power of Jua. Directed by VV Vinayak, the film is a socio-fantasy entertainer with right mix of action and comedy.
Legendary Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu's grand niece, Sayesha Saigal is making her in roads to Tollywood with this film which is slotted for release on November 11, coinciding with Diwali.
Actor Nithiin who proved his mettle as an actor has turned producer with this film. The success of the film is very crucial for both Akhil and Nithiin as they are trying their luck as debutants in the capacities of an actor and producer.
Comedy king Brahmanandam has played a full-length role in this film and his sequences with Akhil are set to tickle the funny bone of the audience. Akhil also boasts of high quality visual effects and perhaps the delay in the graphics is cited as one of the reasons for the delay of the film.
For the first time, Anup Rubens and SS Thaman have collaborated to score music for this much-awaited film. Kona Venkat and Veligonda Srinivas of Damarukam and Pandaga Chesko fame have penned the story. Ace cinematographer Amol Rathod cranks the lens.
