Akhil's heroine is newbie Kalyani

Akhil Akkineni's second film has found its heroine. It's Kalyani, the daughter of ace director Priyadarshan and Lissy, who are now divorced.
Kalyani has been in the film industry, pursuing interests like assistant direction. She assisted the director of 'Iru Muguan' ('Inkokkadu'), the Vikram-starrer, and that's how started earning recognition within industry circles.
When director Vikram Kumar approached her for the role, she didn't gave the nod immediately. Kalyani took her sweet time.
She is expected to join the crew in the film's third schedule. Akhil's first heroine, Sayyesha, too was a debutante.
