Akhil dons a new mantle

Looks like Akhil Akkineni is not the one to stay contented with just acting or playing cricket on occasions. Recently, he debuted as a singer, mesmerizing with his skill at SIIMA Awards in Dubai.
The 'Hello' actor now is going to take up the role of a football league's brand ambassador. “Super excited to be the face of Hyderabad football league. 6 a side 40 min power pact game which is super fun. @thehfl_india ALL THE BEST,” the young lad said on Twitter, letting the world know about his plan.
Not averse to being an ambassador, he had endorsed Mountain Dew years before his film debut happened.
As for his second film, the Vikram Kumar-directed rom-com will hit the screens on Dec 22. "This is a love story with action. The hero keeps waiting for that one word 'Hello!' from his lover. The title was my idea. Kalyani Priyadarshan was chosen because Vikram (director) was looking for a fresh face. We needed someone fresh like Girija ('Gitanjali') and Samantha ('Ye Maya Chesave')," Nagarjuna recently said. The film has music by Anup Rubens.
