’Akhil ‘ Movie Gallery

Akhil Akkineni`s debut film Akhil has hit the screens on the occasion of Diwali today. Directed by VV Vinayak, the film also marks the debut of Sayesha as the leading lady. Actor Nithiin has turned producer with this film that also features Mahesh Manjrekar, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and Sapthagiri in crucial roles.

Meanwhile, reports have arrived that Akhil has charged a whopping Rs 7 crore as the remuneration for this film. Although Akhil is not keen on the remuneration, it was Nithiin who have paid the staggering price to the actor. This is a record among debutant heroes in the history of Tollywood. The film`s pre-release business also fetched a mind blowing Rs 50 crore for the makers. SS Thaman and Anup Rubens have scored the music.
