'Romantic', starring young 'Mehbooba' actor Akash Puri and debutante Ketika Sharma, was supposed to hit the cinemas last Summer. Due to the pandemic, its release got deferred unduly.

On Monday, the makers of the film announced the release date in style. The rom-com will arrive at the cinemas on June 18.

The film, directed by Anil Paduri (a newcomer), has Ramya Krishna in a key supporting role. She is also doing Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' these days. Also starring Makrand Deshpande, the rom-com has music and cinematography by Sunil Kashyap and Naresh, respectively. Puri Jagannadh and Charmme have produced the entertainer.

Akash Puri recently started shooting for 'Chor Bazaar', which is directed by 'George Reddy' maker Jeevan Reddy. The young actor, who is the son of Puri Jaganandh, has undergone a physical makeover for this film.
