Akanksha Puri made her acting debut opposite Karthi in 'Alex Pandian' in which she played one of the three sisters of Santhanam in love with the hero. She then shot back to fame in the Hindi hit 'Calendar Girls' and was also seen in a pivotal role in the recent 'Action' directed by Sundar C starring Vishal and Tamannaah.
Akanksha Puri has been in a relationship with actor Paras Chhabra for the past three years but things are not good now as the actor has controversially stated that she forced him to tattoo her name on his hand and he is unable to get separated from her because she cries when he brings the subject to her. Chhabra is one of the participants in the 'Bigg Boss 13' hosted by Salman Khan and he shared the views on air with the other contestants. He further did not meet his girl when he was admitted to a hospital after suffering a wound while doing a task and then returned to the 'Bigg Boss' set which further fuelled the issue.
Akanksha Puri according to HT has stated "This is not a forced relationship. I am financially and emotionally strong, and I don’t need a man in my life. If he tells me that our relationship is over, I will be more than happy to let him go. When he went inside the house, we did have a conversation that he would do anything to play the game, but I never thought he would malign our relationship. She has also shared a private conversation between them in which he has written that she is his love for life.
Thank you everyone for supporting me.I am absolutely clueless about why Paras is saying all this.He left on a very different note.I have always supported him n will continue to do so but this time he definitely crossed his https://t.co/VYXjfZSJye and his mother are deeply hurt
