Following the grand success of Ajith Kumar's Valimai, the team is once again joining hands for a film, tentatively titled AK61. Photos of AK's new look for the movie went viral on social media platforms and now an update about the film's shooting and poojai has arrived.

According to sources, the film will kick start with a poojai on March 9th and the shooting is expected to begin on March 18th. Ajith is reportedly losing weight for his role in this film. AK has gone for rigorous training to reduce around 25kgs for one of his roles in 'AK61'. Sources also added that half a dozen trainers are assisting the mass hero in achieving a slim look in time for the shoot to begin later this month.

The film marks the third time collaboration of H Vinoth, Ajith and Boney Kapoor. AK61 will have music scored by Ghibran if reports are to be believed, Kavin of Lift fame is expected to act in an important role in this film.
