Ajith Kumar's next movie 'AK 62' like all his films trends high everyday across all social media platforms. Director Magizh Thirumeni and his team are busy with the pre-production work at a five star hotel on the outskirts of Chennai.
Earlier it was reported that Arun Vijay is in talks to play the main villain in 'AK 62'. It is to be noted that AV and Magizh collaborated for two super hits 'Thadaiyara Thaakka' and 'Thadam'. And also since he already locked horns with Ajith in 'Yennai Arindhaal' to great success a few years ago fans were also excited. It is said that the action hero was keen to accept the chance to reunite with Ajith and was in the process of adjusting dates.
Then out of the blue director Bala signed Arun Vijay as replacement for Suriya in 'Vanangaan' and is going to start shooting from March 9th. It is said that Arun has to maintain his getup for a few more months till the end of filming and has reluctantly opted out of 'AK 62'.
Sources say that Magizh Thirumeni is now contemplating approaching Arya for the role and since the duo have already collaborated in ' Meaghamann' in 2014 there is a high chance of a positive signal. There are also other reports that Arulnithi is also likely to come on board for a powerful role.
All these will remain mere speculations until the official word from Lyca Productions comes. The official updates are expected to arrive later this months with a mass announcement video featuring Ajith. Lets wait and watch.
