It is common knowledge that Ajith Kumar's 'Valimai' beat the odds of mixed reviews to emerge as a box office winner. The high octane action thriller helmed by H. Vinoth was produced by Boney Kapoor and the trio are already halfway through their next project 'AK 61'.

We met Boney Kapoor for an exclusive interview in which he shared a lot of inside information on 'Valimai', 'Nenjukku Needhi' and 'AK 61'. He was asked to comment on the general perception that the Ajith film is shaping out to be an out and out Vinoth film. The ace Bollywood producer quickly stated that he is glad that people think so as he has immense respect for the filmmaker and his vision and that is why he is collaborating with him for the third time.

Kapoor also confirmed that Ajith reduced a lot of weight for his role in 'AK 61' and his getup will be something to cherish for by his fans. He has also revealed that so far 35 days of shooting for the film is complete and it will be a wrap by the first week of August.
